With student and staff safety being our highest priority and in collaboration with the City of Tustin and the Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA), we made the decision to close all school campuses within Tustin Unified School District tomorrow, Thursday, November 9. For tomorrow, no instruction will take place throughout the district. In addition, all preschools and daycares (Catalyst and YMCA) in TUSD will be closed tomorrow.
The Tustin Tiller Days is a beloved tradition, having been an annual event in our community since 1957. This three-day festival includes a parade that TUSD was honored to be a part of.

This Week in TUSD, Foothill Engineering and Manufacturing CTE Pathway student Robert has made a lasting impact on campus through his design and construction of signs installed across FHS. And at Sycamore Magnet Academy, Dual Immersion students are studying letters sounds, building their literacy skills in both English and Spanish while strengthening connections with those around them. At Heritage Elementary, third graders are preparing their carnival games, applying understanding of invisible forces developed through project based learning and interviews with industry professionals. Finally, Legacy Magnet Academy students present their study of Mesopotamia, sharing with peers their research on the foundation for many of the world’s earliest civilizations.
